There is a vast difference between the rental relationship before the issuance of the new rent law No. 4 of 1996 and after the issuance of this law that the rental relationship, which began after the issuance of this law is a fixed-term relationship through which the landlord and tenant agree on the duration and maximum of 59 years rather other than the rental relationship that arose prior to the enactment of Law No. 4 of 1996, a relationship of indefinite duration i.e it does not end in a specific length of time, whether agreed on duration of the law.
